Save Poppy: Caio can't afford the emergency vet
Poppy, Caio's German shepherd, needs urgent treatment for a broken leg after a road accident costing $750.

Poppy is my German shepherd of thirteen years. On 6 August we rushed to the Ribeirão Preto Emergency Vet Clinic with a broken leg after a road accident. The vet recommends an operation to remove the blockage, and the estimate came to $750.
They have stabilized Poppy, but the treatment can't wait beyond November.
Poppy is more than a pet - Poppy is the reason I get out of bed. I have already put $115 toward the bills and asked for a payment plan.
Whatever I can't raise, I'll repay to anyone who needs it back.
If more is raised than needed, the surplus goes to the Ribeirão Preto Emergency Vet Clinic's charity fund for other animals.
Where the $750 goes:
• Emergency surgery: $460
• Hospitalization (3 nights): $130
• Medication and follow-up visits: $90
• Diagnostics (X-ray, bloodwork): $70
You're what makes this possible, and I'll never forget it.
