Save Pepper: Santiago can't afford the emergency vet
Please help Santiago pay for Pepper's emergency treatment at Bronx Animal Hospital.

Pepper is my cat of two years. On 21 August we rushed to Bronx Animal Hospital with a tumor on the spleen. The vet recommends an operation to remove the blockage, and the estimate came to $2,050.
They have stabilized Pepper, but the treatment can't wait beyond October.
Pepper is more than a pet - Pepper is a retired therapy animal who has comforted dozens of patients. I have already put $230 toward the bills and asked for a payment plan.
Whatever I can't raise, I'll repay to anyone who needs it back.
If more is raised than needed, the surplus goes to Bronx Animal Hospital's charity fund for other animals.
Where the $2,050 goes:
• Hospitalization (2 nights): $410
• Medication and follow-up visits: $150
• Emergency surgery: $1,490
