Butwal
Oscar is my rescue greyhound of eleven years. On 12 February we rushed to the Butwal Emergency Vet Clinic with pyometra. The vet recommends an operation to remove the blockage, and the estimate came to $300. They have stabilized Oscar, but the treatment can't wait beyond April. Oscar is more than a pet - Oscar is a retired therapy animal who has comforted dozens of patients. I have already put $45 toward the bills and asked for a payment plan. Whatever I can't raise, I'll repay to anyone who needs it back. If more is raised than needed, the surplus goes to the Butwal Emergency Vet Clinic's charity fund for other animals. Where the $300 goes: • Emergency surgery: $165 • Hospitalization (4 nights): $70 • Medication and follow-up visits: $15 • Diagnostics (X-ray, bloodwork): $50 I'll pay this kindness forward the moment I'm able to. - Rabin

  • is there a list of costs somewhere? Just curious how it adds up for Rabin.

    • We've got a rescue too so I know how much they mean. Greetings from Antalya

      • Take care, Rabin. Hope the recovery goes smoothly. Wish I lived closer to Gqeberha so I could bring a meal. Thinking of Butwal.

        • Hang in there. Hope the recovery goes smoothly. The breakdown of costs made it easy to trust.
