Mocha is my three-legged dog of two years. On 27 July we rushed to the Duque de Caxias Emergency Vet Clinic with a tumor on the spleen. The vet recommends a hospital stay and surgery, and the estimate came to $550. They have stabilized Mocha, but the treatment can't wait beyond October. Mocha is more than a pet - Mocha walks my kids to the bus stop every morning. I have already put $40 toward the bills and asked for a payment plan. Whatever I can't raise, I'll repay to anyone who needs it back. Funds will be paid straight to the Duque de Caxias Emergency Vet Clinic and I'll share the invoice and an update on Mocha's recovery.
