Maple is my three-legged dog of nine years. On 28 August we rushed to Salem Veterinary Centre with a ruptured cruciate ligament. The vet recommends a hospital stay and surgery, and the estimate came to $1,900. They have stabilized Maple, but the treatment can't wait beyond November. Maple is more than a pet - Maple walks my kids to the bus stop every morning. I have already put $240 toward the bills and asked for a payment plan. Whatever I can't raise, I'll repay to anyone who needs it back. Funds will be paid straight to Salem Veterinary Centre and I'll share the invoice and an update on Maple's recovery.
