Luna is my rescue greyhound of nine years. On 13 September we rushed to the Kathmandu Emergency Vet Clinic with a tumor on the spleen. The vet recommends orthopedic surgery, and the estimate came to $400. They have stabilized Luna, but the treatment can't wait beyond November. Luna is more than a pet - Luna got me through my hardest year. I have already put $25 toward the bills and asked for a payment plan. Whatever I can't raise, I'll repay to anyone who needs it back. Funds will be paid straight to the Kathmandu Emergency Vet Clinic and I'll share the invoice and an update on Luna's recovery. Where the $400 goes: • Emergency surgery: $230 • Hospitalization (3 nights): $65 • Medication and follow-up visits: $35 • Diagnostics (X-ray, bloodwork): $70 I'll pay this kindness forward the moment I'm able to. - Pooja

  • Sending good thoughts. Gave what I could, wish it was more. After 9 years in nursing I know how hard it's to ask for anything. Blessings.
