Save Hazel: Pavel can't afford the emergency vet
A dog named Hazel needs a hospital stay and surgery - a $250 bill the family can't cover.
🇺🇦 Dnipro, Dnipropetrovsk Oblast, UkrainePosted Feb 11, 2025269 views
Hazel is my dog of two years. On 4 January we rushed to Dnipro Veterinary Centre with a foreign object blocking the intestines. The vet recommends a hospital stay and surgery, and the estimate came to $250.
They have stabilized Hazel, but the treatment can't wait beyond April.
Hazel is more than a pet - Hazel is a retired therapy animal who has comforted dozens of patients. I have already put $80 toward the bills and asked for a payment plan.
Whatever I can't raise, I'll repay to anyone who needs it back.
If more is raised than needed, the surplus goes to Dnipro Veterinary Centre's charity fund for other animals.
Where the $250 goes:
• Diagnostics (X-ray, bloodwork): $80
• Medication and follow-up visits: $30
• Hospitalization (4 nights): $140
Whatever you can give, even just sharing this page, means a lot.

is there a list of costs somewhere? Just curious how it adds up for Pavel
Diagnostics (X-ray, bloodwork) is $80 of it. Everything else is listed in the story and nothing outside that list comes out of this page. Fair thing to want to know.
Thanks for sharing this, Pavel. I hope things turn around soon.
so sorry you're going through this. Give Hazel a hug from me. Wish I lived closer to Yekaterinburg so I could bring a meal.
Sending good thoughts, Pavel. Give Hazel a hug from me. God bless
