Tamale
Biscuit is my rescue greyhound of thirteen years. On 31 May we rushed to Tamale Veterinary Centre with a foreign object blocking the intestines. The vet recommends a hospital stay and surgery, and the estimate came to $400. They have stabilized Biscuit, but the treatment can't wait beyond September. Biscuit is more than a pet - Biscuit walks my kids to the bus stop every morning. I have already put $25 toward the bills and asked for a payment plan. Whatever I can't raise, I'll repay to anyone who needs it back. Funds will be paid straight to Tamale Veterinary Centre and I'll share the invoice and an update on Biscuit's recovery. Where the $400 goes: • Emergency surgery: $185 • Hospitalization (2 nights): $120 • Medication and follow-up visits: $40 • Diagnostics (X-ray, bloodwork): $55 If you can't give, please share this page. It does reach people. - Jemima

  • Your post was clear and honest. After 8 years in teaching I know how hard it's to ask for anything. All the best.

    • Sending strength, Jemima. This could happen to any of us. My daughter saw me on my phone and now she wants to give her pocket money. Greetings from Bekasi.
