Save Archie: Natália can't afford the emergency vet
Archie, Natália's senior cat, needs urgent treatment for bloat costing $400.

Archie is my senior cat of six years. On 26 August we rushed to the Duque de Caxias Emergency Vet Clinic with bloat. The vet recommends orthopedic surgery, and the estimate came to $400.
They have stabilized Archie, but the treatment can't wait beyond November.
Archie is more than a pet - Archie is a retired therapy animal who has comforted dozens of patients. I have already put $120 toward the bills and asked for a payment plan.
Whatever I can't raise, I'll repay to anyone who needs it back.
Funds will be paid straight to the Duque de Caxias Emergency Vet Clinic and I'll share the invoice and an update on Archie's recovery.
Where the $400 goes:
• Medication and follow-up visits: $80
• Hospitalization (4 nights): $220
• Diagnostics (X-ray, bloodwork): $100
