Archie is my German shepherd of nine years. On 29 June we rushed to Townsville Animal Hospital with a tumor on the spleen. The vet recommends emergency surgery, and the estimate came to $1,550. They have stabilized Archie, but the treatment can't wait beyond August. Archie is more than a pet - Archie is a retired therapy animal who has comforted dozens of patients. I have already put $165 toward the bills and asked for a payment plan. Whatever I can't raise, I'll repay to anyone who needs it back. Funds will be paid straight to Townsville Animal Hospital and I'll share the invoice and an update on Archie's recovery.
