Satoshi needs a commercial oven to reopen a neighborhood bakery
Satoshi has run a neighborhood bakery for fifteen years; a storm that collapsed the roof destroyed the equipment, and $2,950 will put it back on its feet.

For fifteen years I have run a neighborhood bakery in Kitakyushu. In July, a storm that collapsed the roof took a commercial oven. I have no insurance, and the bank won't lend to me.
Before that, my customers came every Monday, and I employed 3 people from the neighborhood. I have been out of business for 7 weeks.
This business pays my children's school fees and rent. I have already started working from home in small ways, but I can't meet orders without proper equipment.
Every contribution brings me closer to reopening, and I promise to post photos as I buy each item.
Once I'm back on my feet I plan to hire back the people I had to let go.
Where the $2,950 goes:
• Replacing a commercial oven: $1,550
• Initial stock: flour, butter and sugar: $420
• Shop repairs and licensing: $390
• Working capital for the first month: $590
Thanks for being kind about this.

Best of luck, Satoshi. It takes guts to ask. Well done. Thinking of Kitakyushu.
Hope the shop reopens soon. Sent it to 25 people at work. Greetings from Kozhikode.
your post was clear and honest. Wish I lived closer to Johannesburg so I could bring a meal. Greetings from Phuket.
