Sathish was diagnosed with non-Hodgkin lymphoma in January. The oncology team at Ahmedabad University Hospital has planned 6 rounds of treatment, starting in April. He will be away from work for about 5 weeks. Sathish is 42, worked as a shop owner until January, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after him. Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to Ahmedabad University Hospital 3 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly. We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off his shoulders. I'll post every invoice and receipt as an update so donors can follow where each gift goes. Where the $1,150 goes: • Nutrition and supplements prescribed by the care team: $140 • Chemotherapy and medication not covered: $780 • Scans and lab work: $230 I'll keep this page updated with receipts as things happen.
