Salvador needs my pickup repaired to get back to work in Iztapalapa

Without my pickup Salvador cannot work; a $450 repair would put him back on the road.

I make my living with my pickup. 6 weeks ago the transmission failed, and the mechanic says the repair will cost $450. Without the vehicle I earn nothing. I have been borrowing from friends to pay rent, and now I have run out of people to ask. I support my 1 children. Before the breakdown I worked nine hours a day, six days a week. I have been offered extra shifts for the next three months if I can just get the vehicle working. I have a written estimate from a certified mechanic and will upload it here. All money will go toward the parts and labor on the estimate, with a small amount for road tax and insurance renewal. Where the $450 goes: • transmission replacement (parts): $280 • Labor charges: $45 • Road tax and insurance renewal: $55 • Towing and inspection: $70 Even a small gift gets used right away and I'll thank you myself.

is there anything that isn't money that would help Salvador?

      • Sharing the link is the biggest thing. And if you know anything about transmission replacement (parts), advice is welcome too. It helps to be asked.

    • Wishing you peace. Looking forward to the next update. The breakdown of costs made it easy to trust. All the best.

      • Best of luck. Hope the shop reopens soon. I hope January is when things finally get easier. Thinking of Iztapalapa.

        • Small businesses are the heart of Iztapalapa. Hope you're open again soon. We're a small family in New Delhi but we're thinking of you.

          • Stay strong, Salvador. It takes guts to ask. Well done. I hope January is when things finally get easier. Thinking of Iztapalapa.
