Salerno wildfire relief - Northside village
After the wildfire, families in Northside village need clean water, roofing materials and bedding.

The wildfire hit Northside village on 21 February. My home was one of 33 damaged, and 4 families are still in temporary shelter at the sports club.
The first few days we shared what little we had. Now the cleanup has started, but we've no money for materials and winter or the rainy season is coming.
Schools in the area have been closed, and the clinic lost its cold storage for vaccines. We're a small community of working families who have never asked for help before.
We have formed a volunteer committee, and I'm the treasurer, so I'll post receipts for everything we buy.
We buy supplies locally and in bulk, so the money goes further. Receipts and photos will be posted in updates.
Where the $3,750 goes:
• Roofing sheets and timber: $2,450
• Food parcels for displaced families: $540
• Bedding, blankets and mattresses: $760
I'll keep this page updated with receipts as things happen.

hope it all works out, Salvatore. Shared this with my family. After 21 years in customer support I know how hard it's to ask for anything. All the best.
Thanks for sharing this, Salvatore. It takes guts to ask. Well done. God bless.
