Ruwini needs a lift to the Colombo Dialysis Unit - can you help one day a week?
Could you drive Ruwini to the Colombo Dialysis Unit on Tuesday? A rota of 6 drivers is forming.

Ruwini has been on dialysis for 4 years and until recently drove to the Colombo Dialysis Unit alone. After a foot amputation, Ruwini can no longer drive. Taxis cost more than the family can pay three times a week.
We're building a rota of volunteer drivers. Each session is 4 hours, including the trip there and back; most volunteers take one regular day. The journey is about 12 km each way.
Ruwini is cheerful company. You'd need a car in good condition and a clean driving record. We'll cover your fuel costs, and the family will send you home with homemade food.
Please say which day works for you in the comments.
Thank you for reading my story.

Take care, Anoma. This could happen to any of us. All the best.
stay strong, Anoma. Look after yourselves too, caregivers need rest. My late mom used to say help given quietly counts double.
