Rose is isolated after a stroke: a call a week would help
No advice needed - just a kind ear and some conversation for 30 minutes a week.

After a stroke, I have been mostly housebound for 5 weeks. My family live far away, and the days can feel very long. I'm not looking for therapy - I've that covered - but for conversation.
I'm hoping for someone who can call for about 30 minutes once a week whenever suits us both. I like history, chess and quiz shows, and can listen to anything.
This can be from anywhere in the world as long as you speak English. We can arrange the calls through the platform, with email shared only when we're both comfortable.
Thanks for even thinking about it.
I hope life is good to you.

Thinking of you, Rose. Looking forward to the next update.
keep going, Rose. It takes guts to ask. Well done. This is the second need I've supported on here and the first that made me cry. Take care.
Hope things get better soon. It takes guts to ask. Well done. Don't give up. God bless
Stay strong. Get well soon. After 10 years in public service I know how hard it's to ask for anything

Thinking of you and your family. Gave what I could, wish it was more. Put this on a community board in Bakersfield this morning.
Shared this with my family. My father had a similar thing happen so this one hit home. Blessings.
Hope it all works out, Rose. I hope things turn around soon. We had a similar scare last year, I know what it feels like!
