Roofing help wanted: Sudha's home in Pune
Sudha, a night-shift nurse, needs a few skilled and unskilled helpers for a 1-weekend roof repair in Pune.

I'm a night-shift nurse living in Pune. During the last storm water started coming through the ceiling in 3 places, and the living room is no longer usable. A roofer quoted $450, which isn't something I can pay.
The good news: a local hardware store has donated the roofing sheets and nails. What I don't have is people to do the work. I'm looking for a small crew who can help over three weekday mornings.
Experience helps, but it isn't essential - I'll have a licensed roofer supervising for safety. All you need is work boots and a hat. I'll provide lunch, water and lots of thanks.
The work will be done on the ground and roof with proper harnesses. If you can only help for a few hours, that's welcome too.
I'll keep this page updated with receipts as things happen.

hope it all works out, Sudha. Shared this with my family. My daughter saw me on my phone and now she wants to give her pocket money. Thinking of Pune.
