Roofing help wanted: So-yeon's home in Fort Worth
The roof at So-yeon's home is failing; materials are donated and we need hands.

I'm a night-shift nurse living in Fort Worth. During the last storm water started coming through the ceiling in 4 places, and the kids' bedroom is no longer usable. A roofer quoted $3,300, which isn't something I can pay.
The good news: a local hardware store has donated the shingles and underlay. What I don't have is people to do the work. I'm looking for three or four volunteers who can help over two Saturdays.
Experience helps, but it isn't essential - I'll have a licensed roofer supervising for safety. All you need is to be comfortable with heights or willing to help from the ground. I'll provide lunch, water and lots of thanks.
The work will be done on the ground and roof with proper harnesses. If you can only help for a few hours, that's welcome too.
Whatever you can give, even just sharing this page, means a lot.

Praying for you, So-yeon. Gave what I could, wish it was more!
Sending strength, So-yeon. Rent stress is the worst. Hope this helps. My late mom used to say help given quietly counts double.
Sending good thoughts, So-yeon. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. Take care
Thinking of you. Looking forward to the next update. I went through something like this 14 years ago and strangers helped me out. God bless.
