Roofing help wanted: Shankar's home in Pune
Could you spare a weekend to help repair a leaking roof in Pune?
🇮🇳 Maharashtra, India1,522 views
I'm a home-care aide living in Pune. During the last storm water started coming through the ceiling in 4 places, and the kitchen is no longer usable. A roofer quoted $350, which isn't something I can pay.
The good news: a local hardware store has donated the tiles and battens. What I don't have is people to do the work. I'm looking for a small crew who can help over a weekend.
Experience helps, but it isn't essential - I'll have a licensed roofer supervising for safety. All you need is work boots and a hat. I'll provide lunch, water and lots of thanks.
The work will be done on the ground and roof with proper harnesses. If you can only help for a few hours, that's welcome too.
Glad we found this place.

The support I received was beyond what I expected. Not only did they help with the immediate need, but they also provided guidance for long-term solutions. I'm forever grateful.
- Exceptional service
I was going through a tough time and this person's support was invaluable. They didn't judge, just helped. That kind of genuine compassion is rare these days.
