Roofing help wanted: Parker's home in San Francisco
The roof at Parker's home is failing; materials are donated and we need hands.

I'm a home-care aide living in San Francisco. During the last storm water started coming through the ceiling in 3 places, and the kids' bedroom is no longer usable. A roofer quoted $5,750, which isn't something I can pay.
The good news: a local hardware store has donated the shingles and underlay. What I don't have is people to do the work. I'm looking for anyone handy who can help over one long weekend.
Experience helps, but it isn't essential - I'll have a licensed roofer supervising for safety. All you need is work boots and a hat. I'll provide lunch, water and lots of thanks.
The work will be done on the ground and roof with proper harnesses. If you can only help for a few hours, that's welcome too.
Thanks for being kind about this.

Sending strength. Rent stress is the worst. Hope this helps. I told my book club about it and three of them are giving too. God bless
Sending strength, Parker. Hope you get there. The breakdown of costs made it easy to trust.
