I'm a retired bus driver living in Dnipro. During the last storm water started coming through the ceiling in 2 places, and the bathroom is no longer usable. A roofer quoted $1,050, which isn't something I can pay.
The good news: a local hardware store has donated the tiles and battens. What I don't have is people to do the work. I'm looking for anyone handy who can help over a weekend.
Experience helps, but it isn't essential - I'll have a licensed roofer supervising for safety. All you need is work boots and a hat. I'll provide lunch, water and lots of thanks.
The work will be done on the ground and roof with proper harnesses. If you can only help for a few hours, that's welcome too.
Even a small gift gets used right away and I'll thank you myself.

hope things get better soon, Oksana. Rent stress is the worst. Hope this helps.
Sending love, Oksana. I hope your landlord gives you a bit more time while this comes together. My daughter saw me on my phone and now she wants to give her pocket money. Love from Porto Alegre
Thanks for sharing this, Oksana. Hope you get there. Thinking of Dnipro.
sending love, Oksana. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. Our whole street has been following this since the weekend. Blessings.
Sending love. I was in a similar spot a few years ago and it did get better. It's not much but it's yours.
