Roofing help wanted: Nasrin's home in Nashik
Nasrin, a disabled veteran, needs a few skilled and unskilled helpers for a 1-weekend roof repair in Nashik.

I'm a disabled veteran living in Nashik. During the last storm water started coming through the ceiling in 3 places, and the kids' bedroom is no longer usable. A roofer quoted $470, which isn't something I can pay.
The good news: a local hardware store has donated the roofing sheets and nails. What I don't have is people to do the work. I'm looking for a small crew who can help over three weekday mornings.
Experience helps, but it isn't essential - I'll have a licensed roofer supervising for safety. All you need is work boots and a hat. I'll provide lunch, water and lots of thanks.
The work will be done on the ground and roof with proper harnesses. If you can only help for a few hours, that's welcome too.
Whatever you can give, even just sharing this page, means a lot.

Hang in there. A secure home matters so much. Hope you're settled soon. Love from Fortaleza.
I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. After 8 years in engineering I know how hard it's to ask for anything. Take care.
wishing you peace, Nasrin. Gave what I could, wish it was more. We're a small family in Campinas but we're thinking of you
Take care, Nasrin. It takes guts to ask. Well done. Our whole street has been following this since the weekend. Blessings.
Thanks for sharing this, Nasrin. Shared it with a few friends. My husband and I read this together. Blessings.
