Roofing help wanted: Mia's home in Nottingham
The roof at Mia's home is failing; materials are donated and we need hands.

I'm a night-shift nurse living in Nottingham. During the last storm water started coming through the ceiling in 4 places, and the kitchen is no longer usable. A roofer quoted $3,400, which isn't something I can pay.
The good news: a local hardware store has donated the shingles and underlay. What I don't have is people to do the work. I'm looking for 4-6 people who can help over a weekend.
Experience helps, but it isn't essential - I'll have a licensed roofer supervising for safety. All you need is work boots and a hat. I'll provide lunch, water and lots of thanks.
The work will be done on the ground and roof with proper harnesses. If you can only help for a few hours, that's welcome too.
You're what makes this possible, and I'll never forget it.

Sending love, Mia. Gave what I could, wish it was more. Wish I lived closer to Ahmedabad so I could bring a meal.
Hope it all works out, Mia. Looking forward to the next update. Love from Halifax.
