Roofing help wanted: Larysa's home in Kyiv
The roof at Larysa's home is failing; materials are donated and we need hands.

I'm a home-care aide living in Kyiv. During the last storm water started coming through the ceiling in 3 places, and the kitchen is no longer usable. A roofer quoted $560, which isn't something I can pay.
The good news: a local hardware store has donated the shingles and underlay. What I don't have is people to do the work. I'm looking for a small crew who can help over three weekday mornings.
Experience helps, but it isn't essential - I'll have a licensed roofer supervising for safety. All you need is to be comfortable with heights or willing to help from the ground. I'll provide lunch, water and lots of thanks.
The work will be done on the ground and roof with proper harnesses. If you can only help for a few hours, that's welcome too.
I'll keep this page updated with receipts as things happen.

Best of luck, Larysa. Shared this with my family. My husband and I read this together.
Looking forward to the next update. The breakdown of costs made it easy to trust. Greetings from Shreveport.
praying for you, Larysa. I was in a similar spot a few years ago and it did get better
