Roofing help wanted: Kenta's home in Sakai
Could you spare a weekend to help repair a leaking roof in Sakai?
🇯🇵 Sakai, Osaka, Japan615 views
I'm a single mother of three living in Sakai. During the last storm water started coming through the ceiling in 4 places, and the living room is no longer usable. A roofer quoted $2,900, which isn't something I can pay.
The good news: a local hardware store has donated the corrugated iron sheets and timber. What I don't have is people to do the work. I'm looking for anyone handy who can help over a weekend.
Experience helps, but it isn't essential - I'll have a licensed roofer supervising for safety. All you need is work boots and a hat. I'll provide lunch, water and lots of thanks.
The work will be done on the ground and roof with proper harnesses. If you can only help for a few hours, that's welcome too.
Even a small gift gets used right away and I'll thank you myself.

So sorry you're going through this. Hope you get there. I went through something like this 9 years ago and strangers helped me out. Love from Tarragona
