Roofing help wanted: Jimena's home in Bucaramanga
Jimena, a home-care aide, needs a few skilled and unskilled helpers for a 2-weekend roof repair in Bucaramanga.

I'm a home-care aide living in Bucaramanga. During the last storm water started coming through the ceiling in 3 places, and the kids' bedroom is no longer usable. A roofer quoted $1,350, which isn't something I can pay.
The good news: a local hardware store has donated the roofing sheets and nails. What I don't have is people to do the work. I'm looking for a small crew who can help over one long weekend.
Experience helps, but it isn't essential - I'll have a licensed roofer supervising for safety. All you need is sturdy shoes, gloves and a willingness to work. I'll provide lunch, water and lots of thanks.
The work will be done on the ground and roof with proper harnesses. If you can only help for a few hours, that's welcome too.
Whatever you can give, even just sharing this page, means a lot.

hang in there, Jimena. Looking forward to the next update.
So sorry you're going through this. I hope your landlord gives you a bit more time while this comes together. I hope October is when things finally get easier. All the best
Shared it with a few friends. Love from Tamale
stay strong, Jimena. Shared this with my family. My colleague had a similar thing happen so this one hit home. God bless.
You're not alone, Jimena. I was in a similar spot a few years ago and it did get better.
