Roofing help wanted: Jessica's home in Berlin
Jessica, a home-care aide, needs a few skilled and unskilled helpers for a 2-weekend roof repair in Berlin.

I'm a home-care aide living in Berlin. During the last storm water started coming through the ceiling in 2 places, and the kids' bedroom is no longer usable. A roofer quoted $4,050, which isn't something I can pay.
The good news: a local hardware store has donated the roofing sheets and nails. What I don't have is people to do the work. I'm looking for 4-6 people who can help over three weekday mornings.
Experience helps, but it isn't essential - I'll have a licensed roofer supervising for safety. All you need is work boots and a hat. I'll provide lunch, water and lots of thanks.
The work will be done on the ground and roof with proper harnesses. If you can only help for a few hours, that's welcome too.
I'll keep this page updated with receipts as things happen.

good luck, Jessica. Hope you get there.
Best of luck. Everyone deserves a bit of help sometimes. I hope January is when things finally get easier.
take care, Jessica. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. God bless.
Hope things get better soon. Hope this works out for you. My husband and I read this together. Greetings from Thủ Đức.
gave what I could, wish it was more. We had a similar scare last year, I know what it feels like. Greetings from Salvador
