Roofing help wanted: Itzel's home in Los Angeles
The roof at Itzel's home is failing; materials are donated and we need hands.

I'm a night-shift nurse living in Los Angeles. During the last storm water started coming through the ceiling in 4 places, and the bathroom is no longer usable. A roofer quoted $4,400, which isn't something I can pay.
The good news: a local hardware store has donated the roofing sheets and nails. What I don't have is people to do the work. I'm looking for a small crew who can help over one long weekend.
Experience helps, but it isn't essential - I'll have a licensed roofer supervising for safety. All you need is work boots and a hat. I'll provide lunch, water and lots of thanks.
The work will be done on the ground and roof with proper harnesses. If you can only help for a few hours, that's welcome too.
Please ask me anything in the questions section. I'll answer honestly and quickly.

sending good thoughts. I hope your landlord gives you a bit more time while this comes together. Blessings.
Wishing you the best. Shared it with a few friends. Read this on the bus and kept thinking about it all day
