Roofing help wanted: Hailey's home in Hamilton
Could you spare one long weekend to help repair a leaking roof in Hamilton?
🇨🇦 Ontario, Canada865 views
I'm a widowed grandmother living in Hamilton. During the last storm water started coming through the ceiling in 4 places, and the bathroom is no longer usable. A roofer quoted $3,350, which isn't something I can pay.
The good news: a local hardware store has donated the roofing sheets and nails. What I don't have is people to do the work. I'm looking for anyone handy who can help over one long weekend.
Experience helps, but it isn't essential - I'll have a licensed roofer supervising for safety. All you need is work boots and a hat. I'll provide lunch, water and lots of thanks.
The work will be done on the ground and roof with proper harnesses. If you can only help for a few hours, that's welcome too.
I hope life is good to you.

Wishing you the best, Hailey. Hope you get there. Thinking of Hamilton.
Wishing you the best. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. I told my book club about it and three of them are giving too
Good luck, Hailey. Hope this works out for you. This is the second need I've supported on here and the first that made me cry. Thinking of Hamilton.
