Roofing help wanted: Francisca's home in Ribeirão Preto
Francisca, a retired bus driver, needs a few skilled and unskilled helpers for a 1-weekend roof repair in Ribeirão Preto.

I'm a retired bus driver living in Ribeirão Preto. During the last storm water started coming through the ceiling in 4 places, and the kids' bedroom is no longer usable. A roofer quoted $1,000, which isn't something I can pay.
The good news: a local hardware store has donated the roofing sheets and nails. What I don't have is people to do the work. I'm looking for three or four volunteers who can help over three weekday mornings.
Experience helps, but it isn't essential - I'll have a licensed roofer supervising for safety. All you need is work boots and a hat. I'll provide lunch, water and lots of thanks.
The work will be done on the ground and roof with proper harnesses. If you can only help for a few hours, that's welcome too.
I hope life is good to you.

Rooting for you, Francisca. Hope you get there. We had a similar scare last year, I know what it feels like.
Stay strong. Looking forward to the next update. My sister had a similar thing happen so this one hit home. God bless.
