Roofing help wanted: Eamon's home in Dublin
Eamon, a single mother of three, needs a few skilled and unskilled helpers for a 1-weekend roof repair in Dublin.

I'm a single mother of three living in Dublin. During the last storm water started coming through the ceiling in 2 places, and the kitchen is no longer usable. A roofer quoted $4,300, which isn't something I can pay.
The good news: a local hardware store has donated the roofing sheets and nails. What I don't have is people to do the work. I'm looking for anyone handy who can help over two Saturdays.
Experience helps, but it isn't essential - I'll have a licensed roofer supervising for safety. All you need is to be comfortable with heights or willing to help from the ground. I'll provide lunch, water and lots of thanks.
The work will be done on the ground and roof with proper harnesses. If you can only help for a few hours, that's welcome too.
Whatever you can give, even just sharing this page, means a lot.

Sending strength. Rent stress is the worst. Hope this helps. I went through something like this 10 years ago and strangers helped me out.
Wishing you peace, Eamon. Shared this with my family. I have a 14 year old who wants to send good wishes too
Good luck, Eamon. Your post was clear and honest. All the best
Hang in there, Eamon. I hope things turn around soon. Read this on the bus and kept thinking about it all day.
Hang in there. Hope you get there. I have a 6 year old who wants to send good wishes too. Thinking of Dublin
