Roofing help wanted: Declan's home in Glasgow
Declan, a disabled veteran, needs a few skilled and unskilled helpers for a 1-weekend roof repair in Glasgow.

I'm a disabled veteran living in Glasgow. During the last storm water started coming through the ceiling in 3 places, and the kitchen is no longer usable. A roofer quoted $2,250, which isn't something I can pay.
The good news: a local hardware store has donated the tiles and battens. What I don't have is people to do the work. I'm looking for anyone handy who can help over two Saturdays.
Experience helps, but it isn't essential - I'll have a licensed roofer supervising for safety. All you need is work boots and a hat. I'll provide lunch, water and lots of thanks.
The work will be done on the ground and roof with proper harnesses. If you can only help for a few hours, that's welcome too.
Thanks for being kind about this.

Thinking of you and your family, Declan. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. My late mom used to say help given quietly counts double. Blessings.
Thinking of you and your family, Declan. Rent stress is the worst. Hope this helps
