Roofing help wanted: Consuelo's home in Aurora
Could you spare one long weekend to help repair a leaking roof in Aurora?
🇺🇸 Aurora, Colorado, United States328 views
I'm a widowed grandmother living in Aurora. During the last storm water started coming through the ceiling in 3 places, and the kids' bedroom is no longer usable. A roofer quoted $5,750, which isn't something I can pay.
The good news: a local hardware store has donated the shingles and underlay. What I don't have is people to do the work. I'm looking for anyone handy who can help over one long weekend.
Experience helps, but it isn't essential - I'll have a licensed roofer supervising for safety. All you need is work boots and a hat. I'll provide lunch, water and lots of thanks.
The work will be done on the ground and roof with proper harnesses. If you can only help for a few hours, that's welcome too.
Whatever you can give, even just sharing this page, means a lot.

Sending good thoughts. Everyone deserves a bit of help sometimes. My neighbor in Fort Worth donated after I showed her your page
