Roofing help wanted: Clara's home in Berlin
The roof at Clara's home is failing; materials are donated and we need hands.

I'm a school janitor living in Berlin. During the last storm water started coming through the ceiling in 4 places, and the kids' bedroom is no longer usable. A roofer quoted $2,600, which isn't something I can pay.
The good news: a local hardware store has donated the corrugated iron sheets and timber. What I don't have is people to do the work. I'm looking for 4-6 people who can help over three weekday mornings.
Experience helps, but it isn't essential - I'll have a licensed roofer supervising for safety. All you need is work boots and a hat. I'll provide lunch, water and lots of thanks.
The work will be done on the ground and roof with proper harnesses. If you can only help for a few hours, that's welcome too.
You're what makes this possible, and I'll never forget it.

Hope things get better soon, Clara. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. I went through something like this 2 years ago and strangers helped me out
Sending love. I hope your landlord gives you a bit more time while this comes together. Thinking of Berlin
