Roofing help wanted: Citlali's home in Seattle
Citlali, a night-shift nurse, needs a few skilled and unskilled helpers for a 1-weekend roof repair in Seattle.

I'm a night-shift nurse living in Seattle. During the last storm water started coming through the ceiling in 4 places, and the living room is no longer usable. A roofer quoted $3,550, which isn't something I can pay.
The good news: a local hardware store has donated the roofing sheets and nails. What I don't have is people to do the work. I'm looking for anyone handy who can help over two Saturdays.
Experience helps, but it isn't essential - I'll have a licensed roofer supervising for safety. All you need is to be comfortable with heights or willing to help from the ground. I'll provide lunch, water and lots of thanks.
The work will be done on the ground and roof with proper harnesses. If you can only help for a few hours, that's welcome too.
You're what makes this possible, and I'll never forget it.

Hang in there, Citlali. A secure home matters so much. Hope you're settled soon. We had a similar scare last year, I know what it feels like.
Wishing you peace. Shared it with a few friends. My husband and I read this together. Thinking of Seattle
