Roofing help wanted: Cameron's home in San Diego
Cameron, a disabled veteran, needs a few skilled and unskilled helpers for a 2-weekend roof repair in San Diego.

I'm a disabled veteran living in San Diego. During the last storm water started coming through the ceiling in 4 places, and the living room is no longer usable. A roofer quoted $4,350, which isn't something I can pay.
The good news: a local hardware store has donated the tiles and battens. What I don't have is people to do the work. I'm looking for 4-6 people who can help over two Saturdays.
Experience helps, but it isn't essential - I'll have a licensed roofer supervising for safety. All you need is sturdy shoes, gloves and a willingness to work. I'll provide lunch, water and lots of thanks.
The work will be done on the ground and roof with proper harnesses. If you can only help for a few hours, that's welcome too.
If you can't give, please share this page. It does reach people.

Wishing you peace. I hope things turn around soon. The breakdown of costs made it easy to trust.
Stay strong. Hope this works out for you. Love from Arusha.
Thanks for sharing this, Cameron. I was in a similar spot a few years ago and it did get better. Thinking of San Diego.
Stay strong, Cameron. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. My daughter saw me on my phone and now she wants to give her pocket money. Greetings from Thane.
