Roofing help wanted: Aaron's home in San Diego
The roof at Aaron's home is failing; materials are donated and we need hands.

I'm a single mother of three living in San Diego. During the last storm water started coming through the ceiling in 2 places, and the kitchen is no longer usable. A roofer quoted $4,250, which isn't something I can pay.
The good news: a local hardware store has donated the tiles and battens. What I don't have is people to do the work. I'm looking for three or four volunteers who can help over a weekend.
Experience helps, but it isn't essential - I'll have a licensed roofer supervising for safety. All you need is to be comfortable with heights or willing to help from the ground. I'll provide lunch, water and lots of thanks.
The work will be done on the ground and roof with proper harnesses. If you can only help for a few hours, that's welcome too.
Thank you so much.

you're not alone, Aaron. I was in a similar spot a few years ago and it did get better. I told my book club about it and three of them are giving too
Sending good thoughts. Rent stress is the worst. Hope this helps. I told my book club about it and three of them are giving too. Take care.
Hope it all works out, Aaron. I was in a similar spot a few years ago and it did get better. Thinking of San Diego.
