Roofer needed urgently: Ruth's home isn't safe
Ruth has faulty wiring that trips the power and smells of burning, and can't afford a licensed roofer to fix it; a few hours of professional help would make the home safe.

In August an inspector told me that my home has faulty wiring that trips the power and smells of burning. It's a safety risk for me and my elderly mother. The landlord has refused to act, and quotes of $1,350 are beyond us.
I'm looking for a licensed roofer who may be able to donate a few hours or do the repair at cost. I can cover the parts, which I estimate at $195.
The job should take about four hours. I'll make sure someone is home and will provide refreshments. I can share the inspector's written report on request.
If you're a roofer and can help, or know a program that assists with this sort of repair, I'd really appreciate it.
Please ask me anything in the questions section. I'll answer honestly and quickly.

hang in there, Ruth. Shared it with a few friends. Our whole street has been following this since the weekend.
Stay strong. Shared it with a few friends. After 12 years in farming I know how hard it's to ask for anything.
