Roofer needed urgently: Ikenna's home isn't safe
Looking for a licensed roofer in Kano to donate time or work at cost.

In July an inspector told me that my home has a leaking gas line. It's a safety risk for me and my two small children. The landlord has refused to act, and quotes of $260 are beyond us.
I'm looking for a licensed roofer who may be able to donate a few hours or do the repair at cost. I can cover the parts, which I estimate at $35.
The job should take about three hours. I'll make sure someone is home and will provide refreshments. I can share the inspector's written report on request.
If you're a roofer and can help, or know a program that assists with this sort of repair, I'd really appreciate it.
Thank you for reading my story.

thanks for sharing this, Ikenna. Rent stress is the worst. Hope this helps. After 11 years in hospitality I know how hard it's to ask for anything.
Wishing you peace, Ikenna. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. My late mom used to say help given quietly counts double. Greetings from Atlanta.
