Rony needs someone who understands: peer support in recovery
Rony is six months into recovery and would welcome a mentor with lived experience.

I'm six months into recovery from opioid addiction. I attend meetings and see a counselor, but the weeks between meetings are the hardest. I'd love a mentor - someone who has a year or more of recovery and who would be willing to talk once a week.
I'm not looking for a replacement for treatment. I'm looking for someone who understands what a bad Tuesday night feels like.
I'd prefer someone who's happy to do video calls. Any country is fine. I'll be respectful of your time and boundaries, and happy to pay it forward later.
I'll keep this page updated with receipts as things happen.
- effort
- 1 call a week
- format
- Online or by phone
- skills
- lived experience, empathy

Wishing Rony a smooth procedure and a full recovery. Don't give up. Take care.
Wishing you the best. Gave what I could, wish it was more. My late mom used to say help given quietly counts double.
Thinking of you and your family, Rony. Hope the treatment goes smoothly and recovery is quick. Take care.
Shared it with a few friends. The breakdown of costs made it easy to trust. Thinking of Ludhiana
