After twelve years of service, Romain is raising funds for a first month of rent and transport to job interviews.

I served twelve years in the infantry and was discharged in 2025 with a traumatic brain injury. I have been waiting fourteen months for support, and meanwhile I'm sleeping at my brother's place.
I have a plan: a first month of rent and transport to job interviews. The quote I have comes to $3,950.
I'm receiving counseling through the veterans' clinic and am committed to my recovery. Structure and a stable place to live are the missing pieces.
I'd be grateful for any help and will share updates on how I'm doing.
I'll post invoices, with personal details hidden.
Where the $3,950 goes:
• Training provider fees: $2,100
• Housing deposit and first month: $990
• Transport to appointments: $280
• Essential household items: $580
Whatever you can give, even just sharing this page, means a lot.

Hope it all works out, Romain. Hope you get there. Read this on the bus and kept thinking about it all day.
This could happen to any of us. Put this on a community board in London this morning. Greetings from London
best of luck. Everyone deserves a bit of help sometimes. Don't be hard on yourself for asking. God bless.
Thinking of you, Romain. Hope you get there. We're a small family in Dallas but we're thinking of you. Thinking of Toronto.
