Rocky's a broken leg after a road accident: help with the vet bill
A tabby kitten named Rocky needs emergency surgery - a $2,300 bill the family can't cover.
🇺🇸 United States1,243 views
Rocky is my tabby kitten of two years. On 1 November we rushed to Oakland Veterinary Centre with a broken leg after a road accident. The vet recommends emergency surgery, and the estimate came to $2,300.
They have stabilized Rocky, but the treatment can't wait beyond February.
Rocky is more than a pet - Rocky walks my kids to the bus stop every morning. I have already put $320 toward the bills and asked for a payment plan.
Whatever I can't raise, I'll repay to anyone who needs it back.
Funds will be paid straight to Oakland Veterinary Centre and I'll share the invoice and an update on Rocky's recovery.
Where the $2,300 goes:
• Emergency surgery: $1,250
• Hospitalization (2 nights): $530
• Medication and follow-up visits: $280
• Diagnostics (X-ray, bloodwork): $240
Glad we found this place.

Wishing you the best, Olivia. I hope things turn around soon. My neighbor in Marrakesh donated after I showed her your page. Thinking of Oakland
It takes guts to ask. Well done. This is the second need I've supported on here and the first that made me cry. Blessings
