Riley needs someone who understands: peer support in recovery
A weekly call with someone who has been through it - that's the whole ask.

I'm ninety days into recovery from opioid addiction. I attend meetings and see a counselor, but the weeks between meetings are the hardest. I'd love a mentor - someone who has a year or more of recovery and who would be willing to talk once a week.
I'm not looking for a replacement for treatment. I'm looking for someone who understands what a bad Tuesday night feels like.
I'd prefer someone who's happy to do video calls. Any country is fine. I'll be respectful of your time and boundaries, and happy to pay it forward later.
You're what makes this possible, and I'll never forget it.

you're not alone, Riley. Hope you get there. I went through something like this 14 years ago and strangers helped me out. God bless.
Thinking of you and your family. Wishing Riley a smooth procedure and a full recovery. Read this on the bus and kept thinking about it all day
