Rides to dialysis three times a week for Zubby in Lagos

A rota of drivers to Lagos General Hospital would keep Zubby on treatment. Even one trip a week helps.

Zubby has been on dialysis for 2 years and until recently drove to Lagos General Hospital alone. After a minor stroke, Zubby can no longer drive. Taxis cost more than the family can pay three times a week. We're building a rota of volunteer drivers. Each session is 3 hours, including the trip there and back; most volunteers take one regular day. The journey is about 18 km each way. Zubby is cheerful company. You'd need a car in good condition and a clean driving record. We'll cover your fuel costs, and the family will send you home with homemade food. Please say which day works for you in the comments. Whatever you can give, even just sharing this page, means a lot.
