Rides to dialysis three times a week for Ramesh in Mumbai
A rota of drivers to Mumbai General Hospital would keep Ramesh on treatment. Even one trip a week helps.
🇮🇳 Mumbai, Maharashtra, India339 views
Ramesh has been on dialysis for 2 years and until recently drove to Mumbai General Hospital alone. After a foot amputation, Ramesh can no longer drive. Taxis cost more than the family can pay three times a week.
We're building a rota of volunteer drivers. Each session is 3 hours, including the trip there and back; most volunteers take one regular day. The journey is about 12 km each way.
Ramesh is cheerful company. You'd need a car in good condition and a clean driving record. We'll cover your fuel costs, and the family will send you home with homemade food.
Please say which day works for you in the comments.
