Rides to dialysis three times a week for Nicolás in Riverside

A rota of drivers to Riverside Regional Medical Center would keep Nicolás on treatment. Even one trip a week helps.

Nicolás has been on dialysis for 1 years and until recently drove to Riverside Regional Medical Center alone. After a foot amputation, Nicolás can no longer drive. Taxis cost more than the family can pay three times a week. We're building a rota of volunteer drivers. Each session is 3 hours, including the trip there and back; most volunteers take one regular day. The journey is about 8 km each way. Nicolás is cheerful company. You'd need a car in good condition and a clean driving record. We'll cover your fuel costs, and the family will send you home with homemade food. Please say which day works for you in the comments. Thank you so much.
