Rides to dialysis three times a week for Kai in Denver

A rota of drivers to the Denver Kidney Centre would keep Kai on treatment. Even one trip a week helps.

Kai has been on dialysis for 1 years and until recently drove to the Denver Kidney Centre alone. After an eyesight problem, Kai can no longer drive. Taxis cost more than the family can pay three times a week. We're building a rota of volunteer drivers. Each session is 4 hours, including the trip there and back; most volunteers take one regular day. The journey is about 8 km each way. Kai is cheerful company. You'd need a car in good condition and a clean driving record. We'll cover your fuel costs, and the family will send you home with homemade food. Please say which day works for you in the comments. Even a small gift gets used right away and I'll thank you myself.

I work in healthcare and wanted you to know people are on your side. We had a similar scare last year, I know what it feels like. Blessings.
