Rides to dialysis three times a week for Ian in Coventry
Could you drive Ian to Coventry General Hospital on Saturday? A rota of 5 drivers is forming.
🇬🇧 Coventry, England, United Kingdom1,206 views
Ian has been on dialysis for 2 years and until recently drove to Coventry General Hospital alone. After surgery on their hand, Ian can no longer drive. Taxis cost more than the family can pay three times a week.
We're building a rota of volunteer drivers. Each session is 4 hours, including the trip there and back; most volunteers take one regular day. The journey is about 22 km each way.
Ian is cheerful company. You'd need a car in good condition and a clean driving record. We'll cover your fuel costs, and the family will send you home with homemade food.
Please say which day works for you in the comments.
Whatever you can give, even just sharing this page, means a lot.
