Rides to dialysis three times a week for Hannah in Tema
A rota of drivers to Tema Regional Medical Center would keep Hannah on treatment. Even one trip a week helps.
🇬🇭 Tema, Greater Accra, Ghana652 views
Hannah has been on dialysis for 4 years and until recently drove to Tema Regional Medical Center alone. After a minor stroke, Hannah can no longer drive. Taxis cost more than the family can pay three times a week.
We're building a rota of volunteer drivers. Each session is 3 hours, including the trip there and back; most volunteers take one regular day. The journey is about 30 km each way.
Hannah is cheerful company. You'd need a car in good condition and a clean driving record. We'll cover your fuel costs, and the family will send you home with homemade food.
