Rides to dialysis three times a week for Hamza in Lahore

A rota of drivers to the Lahore Kidney Centre would keep Hamza on treatment. Even one trip a week helps.

Hamza has been on dialysis for 3 years and until recently drove to the Lahore Kidney Centre alone. After a minor stroke, Hamza can no longer drive. Taxis cost more than the family can pay three times a week. We're building a rota of volunteer drivers. Each session is 4 hours, including the trip there and back; most volunteers take one regular day. The journey is about 10 km each way. Hamza is cheerful company. You'd need a car in good condition and a clean driving record. We'll cover your fuel costs, and the family will send you home with homemade food. Please say which day works for you in the comments. Thanks for being kind about this.
